The Adventist History Podcast commissioned Linda DeYoung to draw this evocative portrait of Ellen White to free her from the confines of our imagination. No longer in the 19th century, Ellen is seen on a modern subway reading an iPad and travelling through an Asian city. This drawing asks: What would it look like if Ellen White lived and worked among us in the twenty-first century? And yet there is a part of Ellen White that will always be in her own time - hence her dress. This combination of the modern and the victorian invites contemplation of how Adventist remember Ellen White.
